Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) Advisor to join our Client's organisation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our operations comply with all relevant safety and environmental regulations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organisation.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and legal requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Prepare comprehensive reports on safety performance, audit findings, and incident analyses.
Facilitate training sessions on health, safety, and environmental topics to promote awareness among staff.
Coordinate emergency response plans and ensure all personnel are familiar with procedures such as first aid protocols.
Monitor environmental impact measures and ensure adherence to sustainability initiatives.
Collaborate with management to integrate QHSE considerations into operational planning and decision-making processes.

Experience

Proven experience as a QHSE Advisor or in a similar health and safety role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Demonstrable knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and best practices in health, safety, quality, and environmental management.
Certification in first aid is highly desirable.
Strong report writing skills with the ability to produce clear, detailed documentation for audits and investigations.
Experience conducting root cause analysis to identify underlying issues behind incidents or non-conformities.
Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Prior experience in conducting risk assessments and facilitating training sessions is advantageous. This role offers a dynamic environment where your expertise will contribute significantly to maintaining high standards of safety and environmental responsibility across our operations.
