About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking IT Manager to lead and develop our technology operations in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys driving IT strategy, maintaining secure and reliable infrastructure, and supporting business growth through innovative technology solutions.

Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will oversee day-to-day IT operations while identifying opportunities to improve systems, security, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop the internal IT team.
Manage IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud environments, and business-critical systems.
Ensure high availability, performance, and security across all technology platforms.
Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Oversee cybersecurity initiatives, risk management, and data protection compliance.
Manage software, hardware, and technology vendors, ensuring cost-effective service delivery.
Plan and deliver IT projects, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and minimise downtime.
Prepare and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and technology roadmaps.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in an IT Manager or senior IT leadership role.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, cloud technologies, networking, and cybersecurity.
Experience managing IT infrastructure, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Familiarity with virtualisation technologies, endpoint management, and enterprise security tools.
Strong project management, vendor management, and budgeting experience.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, or equivalent are advantageous.
