Farrington Care Homes Ltd is a trusted provider of residential, nursing, and dementia care services across the UK. We are currently looking for caring, dependable, and compassionate Night Care Assistants to join our welcoming team at Woodlands Residential Care Home in Earith.

This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting older people and making a meaningful impact every night. As a Night Care Assistant, you will play an essential role in ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable, respected, and supported throughout the night.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our dedicated night team, your responsibilities will include:

Providing compassionate, person-centred care and emotional support to residents during night shifts.
Assisting residents with personal care and mobility needs while maintaining dignity and independence.
Carrying out regular wellbeing and safety checks throughout the night.
Supporting residents who may require reassurance, companionship, or additional care during the night.
Administering medication in line with company procedures and training.
Accurately recording care provided and reporting any concerns to senior staff.
Maintaining a calm, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Working closely with colleagues to ensure high standards of care are consistently delivered.

What We’re Looking For

Ideal candidates will have:

Previous experience in a care home, residential care, nursing home, or elderly care setting.
A caring, patient, and respectful nature.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
A strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
The ability to remain calm and attentive during night shifts.
A genuine passion for supporting older people.

Qualifications

Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (preferred but not essential).
Ongoing training and development opportunities may be available for suitable candidates.
