Floor Manager – Pre-School Room

Location: West Calder Pre-School Room

Position: Full-time

Salary: £26,420 – £30,200 per year

Minimum Qualification Required:

SVQ Level 3 in Early Learning & Childcare (or equivalent)

Leadership experience preferred

At Little Flyers, we are looking for a passionate, confident, and inspiring Floor Manager to lead our Pre-School Room and support our team in delivering exceptional care and learning experiences for every child.

As Floor Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the Pre-School Room. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will lead by example, mentor and support your team, and help create an engaging and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and flourish.

Your Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day running of the Pre-School Room
Support, mentor, and inspire your team
Deliver and maintain high-quality care and learning experiences
Create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Support planning, observations, and curriculum delivery
Ensure nursery policies, procedures, and standards are consistently upheld

What We’re Looking For

SVQ Level 3 in Early Learning & Childcare (or equivalent)
Previous leadership experience, or the confidence and readiness to progress into a leadership role
A caring and nurturing individual with a genuine passion for child development
Strong organisational and communication skills
A creative approach to learning through play
A positive team player who enjoys collaboration and building strong relationships
