Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electricians Mate to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in electrical installation in commercial sector within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will work closely with qualified electricians, assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth and safe operation of electrical systems. This paid position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills and knowledge in the electrical trade.

Duties

Assist qualified electricians with installation
Handle hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently without supervision
Support in measuring, cutting, and preparing materials for electrical work
Help with wiring, conduit installation, and connection of electrical components
Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
Follow instructions carefully to complete assigned tasks within project deadlines
Participate in safety briefings and adhere to all health and safety regulations on site

Qualifications

Basic experience with commercial installation and power tools used in electrical work is preferred
Demonstrable interest or experience in the electrical trade is advantageous
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well as part of a team
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment
Must be willing to learn quickly and develop practical skills under supervision
A recognised qualification or background in electrical experience is desirable but not essential
