Job description

Trainee Bookkeeper/Accountant

The role will focus on various aspects of accountancy, mainly Sole Trade and Partnership accounts, Personal Tax Returns, VAT and CIS returns, and Bookkeeping using Xero and Autoentry software.

You will be mentored by a dedicated Senior and be supported by various members of the team and the company directors.

We are offering a supported study package working towards AAT qualification covering course fees, exams and professional subscriptions, and a potential route into a chartered qualification in the future.

You will work within a friendly, flexible team in an open plan office where team discussions are encouraged.

Job Requirement

Planning to study, or already studying, AAT Level 2/3.

Two A-Levels or equivalent at grade B or above would be beneficial, with one being an Accountancy A-Level.

GCSE Maths at grade 9-5.

Good communication and IT skills, especially using Microsoft Excel.

A strong desire to pursue a career in accountancy.

Experience not required as full training will be given
