Job Introduction

Please note: This is a lone working role, and applicants must be aged 18 or over due to the nature of the position.

Salary & Benefits

£13.11 per hour
42 hours per week
Shift pattern: 2-day shifts (06:00–18:00), 2 night shifts (18:00–06:00), followed by 4 days off
Location: Wirral, CH62 3NU

Enhanced Pay Rates

Overtime (outside regular shifts) when lone working (nights and weekends): £19.66 per hour (time and a half)
Bank Holidays: £26.22 per hour (double time)
Christmas Day: £39.33 per hour (triple time)

What you'll do

Welcome staff, contractors and visitors while ensuring security procedures are followed
Monitor the site and identify any security risks or rule infractions
Carry out regular patrols, maintaining a visible and reassuring presence
Respond promptly and professionally to alarms and security incidents
Enforce site policies and procedures
Complete accurate incident reports and detailed shift handovers

What you'll bring

A valid and in-date SIA Licence
A full valid driving licence
Previous experience in a security role, ideally within a corporate or industrial environment
Excellent observation, communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
A strong understanding of security procedures and best practices
