Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate GDC registered Dental Nurse or trainee dental nurse to join our team on a full-time / part-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within a dental practice and have a special interest in oral health hygiene.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas to uphold health and safety standards.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure seamless patient experiences.
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.

Skills

A background in nursing or relevant qualifications that enhance your ability to provide care.
Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems efficiently.
Exceptional organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills to convey information clearly to patients, promoting and educating patients on oral health and hygeine best practices.
A team player with a positive, growth mindset.
