Civil Engineering Working Foreman
Location: Ashbourne, Derbyshire (working across sites throughout the Midlands)

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Civil Engineering Working Foreman to join our team.

We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their sites, sets high standards and gets the best out of their team through leadership, organisation and leading by example.
What we're looking for
· Minimum 10 years' experience within the civil engineering and groundworks industry, with proven experience leading site teams.
· A broad background across civil engineering and groundworks, or extensive specialist knowledge in a particular discipline.
· Proven ability to lead by example while remaining hands-on when required.
· SSSTS as a minimum (SMSTS welcomed).
· Valid CSCS Card.
· Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
· CPCS or NPORS plant tickets for 360 Excavator, Dumper and Roller are advantageous.
· Previous experience working on projects for clients such as National Grid Electricity Distribution, Severn Trent, the Environment Agency, Manchester Airport Group or similar utility and infrastructure organisations would be advantageous.
· Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
· A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity.
What you'll be doing
· As a Working Foreman, you'll be responsible for leading site teams while remaining actively involved in the works. Your duties will include:
· Leading site teams and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
· Planning and coordinating daily site activities.
· Working alongside your team and leading from the front.
· Maintaining excellent safety, health, environmental and quality standards.
· Liaising with Site Agents, Construction Managers and Clients.
· Mentoring and developing less experienced operatives.
· Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
· Identifying issues early and driving solutions to keep projects moving.
