Full job description

Overview

Manor House Nursery School are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join our friendly setting based in Hartsdown Park, Margate. The position is a part-time, all year round role Monday and Friday 8am-6pm.

Our setting offers a stimulating, safe and welcoming environment to children and is focused on providing outstanding care to children from 3 months old to 4 years of age. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Nursery Leadership team. Duties will include (but are not limited to):

· Reception duties including, being the first point of contact for children, families and visitors.

. Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing inquiries or directing calls appropriately and responding to emails.

· To support the reception team with any administration linked with financial management and funding procedures.

· To provide basic IT support to other staff if required.

· To assist with keeping the reception area and entrance presentable.

.Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all information is up-to-date in our systems.

. Maintain reception supplies inventory and place orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, contributing positively to the office environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills is highly desirable.
