Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pot Washer to join our busy kitchen team at our esteemed restaurant in Ramsgate . The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchenware, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience within the hospitality industry, particularly in food preparation and restaurant environments. The role is suitable for those with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for supporting culinary excellence.

Responsibilities

Efficiently wash, rinse, and dry all pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment following hygiene standards.
Organise cleaned items for easy access by chefs and kitchen staff.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, supporting the overall kitchen operations.
Maintain cleanliness of the pot washing area, ensuring it remains hygienic and organised throughout shifts.
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents or contamination.
Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery.

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Experience working in restaurants, hotels, or catering establishments is desirable.
Familiarity with basic culinary practices and hospitality standards will be beneficial.
No formal qualifications are required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important. This role offers an excellent entry point into the hospitality industry, providing valuable experience in food service operations within a professional setting.

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
