For over 20 years, the Company has delivered fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Colleges across the UK. The company caters more than 1,000,000 meals a week. Job Description

We are hiring for a Catering Assistant at Walton Hall Academy, Eccleshall - Stafford to perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service in our schools. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

Due to an expansion in the school provision a second location is being opened in Stafford town centre for 6th form students. the primary purpose of this role is to deliver food to the site.

The role:

£12.71 per hour
20 hours per week working Monday – Friday
Term-time only – working 38 weeks per year

Own transport and full driving license essential. this role involves transporting food between two sites in Eccleshall and Stafford. Expenses are suitably remunerated.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
Transporting food to 6th form location
Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image

Qualifications

Full driving license.

Catering training can be provided.
