Full job description

We’re looking for a café all-rounder to join our small, friendly team at a busy independent café in Nether Green.

This is a varied role that combines barista work, customer service, and kitchen support. We’re looking for someone who can make consistently good coffee, enjoys working with customers, and is happy getting involved wherever needed during a busy café service.

Kitchen experience is important too - you should be comfortable helping with food preparation, plating brunch dishes, and supporting the kitchen team when required. This role does include covering the kitchen independently when required.

The café is owner-run, and both owners work in the business every day. We work hard, help each other out, and try to keep the atmosphere positive and supportive even on busy days. We’re a busy place too so we are looking for someone who can maintain quality during the chaos.

An experienced barista looking for a varied café role
Someone with both front-of-house and kitchen experience
A hospitality professional who enjoys working across different areas of the business
Someone reliable, organised, and confident working independently when needed

What we offer:

£12.71 - £14 per hour depending on experience
Strong tips for a café setting
Daytime-only shifts — no evenings or Sundays

Working hours:Approx. 16–22 hours per week

Shifts will be scheduled between Tuesday and Saturday, with flexibility depending on availability and business needs.
