The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the engineer in various mechanical systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest of standards of quality and safety. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently. We are a leading industrial door company dedicated to providing innovative and durable solutions for various industrial applications. Join our team and help keep projects running smoothly. You will play a crucial role in our operations at Pro-Door Ltd, located in the heart of the Forest of Dean.
Responsibilities

· Utilize electrical skills for installation and maintenance of door systems.

· Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

· Assist in fabrication processes to create custom door solutions.

· Collaborate with team members on construction projects as needed.

· Interpret schematics and technical drawings for accurate installations.

· Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

· Document work completed accurately

Qualifications

· Proficiency with hand tools and power tools is required.

· Familiarity with fabrication processes is highly desirable.

· Basic knowledge of construction practices is preferred.

· Ability to read and interpret schematics is a plus.

· Good communication skills both verbal and written, with an emphasis on teamwork

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
