Full job description

Job Summary
The Account Director is the senior external face of Uinsure for one or two strategic partners, operating at executive level to drive commercial growth, champion technology adoption and ensure strong customer outcomes. Working in a fast-paced, tech-led environment, the role combines independent delivery with cross-functional collaboration to execute partner and business strategy.

1. Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Partner Leadership
Serve as the primary senior relationship owner for strategic partners, engaging directly with executive and C-suite counterparts and representing Uinsure at partner leadership forums and industry events.
Act as the single point of accountability for partner strategy, escalations and senior decisions, providing clear and authoritative direction.
Business Development & Commercial Growth
Proactively identify and pursue growth opportunities, developing joint commercial strategies with partners including revenue plans, performance targets and value-exchange models.
Monitor partner performance against commercial metrics, using data-driven insight to drive corrective action and ensure partners fully utilise Uinsure’s propositions.
Technology, Innovation & AI
Drive partner adoption of Uinsure’s latest technology and AI solutions, feeding emerging partner needs back into product and roadmap development.
Stay at the forefront of insurtech and AI developments, positioning Uinsure as a market-leading, future-ready partner.
Internal Collaboration & Delivery
Work independently across the full partner relationship while coordinating internally across Marketing, Product, Pricing, Operations, Technology and Compliance to deliver seamless execution.
Translate partner strategy and market insight into actionable internal briefs, and provide regular performance and pipeline reporting to senior leadership.
Governance, Customer Outcomes & Contractual Compliance
Champion strong customer outcomes across all partner activity, ensuring adherence to FCA Consumer Duty obligations and Uinsure’s standards.
Hold partners and internal teams accountable to contractual terms, working with Risk, Compliance and Legal to maintain robust governance and escalating issues promptly where obligations are at risk.

2. Person Specification

Skills, Knowledge & Aptitudes

Essential

Significant senior experience in partner management, account direction or commercial leadership within financial services or insurance.
Proven ability to build and influence executive-level relationships, with the gravitas to represent Uinsure at the most senior levels.
Strong business development instinct with a track record of converting growth opportunities and achieving revenue targets.
Digitally confident and enthusiastic about AI and emerging technology; comfortable in a fast-paced, tech-led environment.
Highly self-motivated, commercially astute and able to manage complex priorities independently while remaining a strong collaborative team member

Desirable

Significant senior experience in partner management, account direction or commercial leadership within financial services or insurance.
Proven ability to build and influence executive-level relationships, with the gravitas to represent Uinsure at the most senior levels.
Strong business development instinct with a track record of converting growth opportunities and achieving revenue targets.
Digitally confident and enthusiastic about AI and emerging technology; comfortable in a fast-paced, tech-led environment.
Highly self-motivated, commercially astute and able to manage complex priorities independently while remaining a strong collaborative team member.
Experience in a regulated financial services environment, with familiarity of FCA regulation and Consumer Duty.
Knowledge of insurtech, open finance or digital distribution models.
Experience contributing to product or technology roadmap discussions as a voice of the partner.

Pay: £70,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
