Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Event Security Officer and be the frontline guardian of safety at a variety of high-profile events. Your energetic presence and vigilant eye will ensure a secure environment for attendees, staff, and performers alike. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security expertise in a lively setting, making every event safe, enjoyable, and memorable for all participants. Your proactive approach and commitment to safety will help create seamless experiences that leave a lasting positive impression.

Duties

Monitor event premises continuously using CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity or potential security threats
Conduct thorough access control procedures, verifying credentials and managing entry points for staff, vendors, and attendees
Perform regular patrols of the venue to maintain visibility, deter misconduct, and respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing crowd behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
Provide first aid assistance when needed, ensuring prompt response to minor injuries or medical concerns
Document incidents accurately through detailed reports and communicate effectively with emergency responders if necessary
Enforce venue policies and safety regulations to uphold a secure environment throughout the event duration

Skills

Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to minimize theft and unauthorized access
Ability to perform vigilant CCTV monitoring and conduct visual inspections confidently
First aid certification or experience in providing basic medical assistance during emergencies
Excellent communication skills for clear reporting, crowd management, and liaising with emergency services
Keen observational skills with attention to detail in high-pressure situations
Physical stamina to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods while maintaining alertness
