Required at:
3 different nursery settings - Thrive Teviot House Nursery, Corner Gillsland (Both EH 10) and Corner House The Grange (EH9) - these roles are being advertised due to high levels of business growth.
To be eligible for this role applicants must have either minimum of HNC Level 7 or SVQ Level 3 in Early Years.
£14.20 Per Hour

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our Thrive team. This role is ideal for an experienced Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Practitioner, or Nursery Nurse looking to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking childcare setting.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality early years education and care, ensuring every child has the best start in life.
Key Responsibilities – Early Years Practitioner
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
- Support children’s learning, development, and school readiness
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers
- Observe, assess, and track children’s progress
- Work as part of a team to deliver outstanding childcare
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment
- Continue your professional development as an Early Years Practitioner
Requirements
- To be eligible for this role applicants must have either minimum of HNC Level 7 or SVQ Level 3 in Early Years
- Experience working as an Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse (preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
