Set within the heart of Edinburgh, The Caledonian Edinburgh invites guests into beautifully re-imagined bedrooms inspired by Scotland’s landscapes and heritage. We are seeking a Guest Services Agent to help deliver a seamless, refined experience from first arrival to final farewell.

The Person:

A polished and welcoming professional with a passion for luxury hospitality
Naturally warm, confident and composed in all guest interactions
Detail-orientated with strong communication and organisational skills
Proactive, adaptable and calm under pressure
Flexible to work across varied shifts, supporting hotel operations.

The Role:

Deliver a seamless, refined guest journey from arrival to departure
Act as the first and lasting impression of The Caledonian Edinburgh
Provide attentive, personalised front-of-house service
Uphold the hotel’s luxury standards and brand values at all times
Support the wider Front of House team in exceeding guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage check-in and check-out with efficiency, discretion and warmth
Respond promptly to guest enquiries, resolving requests professionally
Maintain thorough knowledge of room categories, rates and promotions
Maximise occupancy and revenue through confident upselling
Follow all security, cash handling and health and safety procedures.
