Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hard Landscaper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing outdoor landscape features with a focus on durability and aesthetic appeal. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilising a range of tools and techniques to create beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. Applicants should have a passion for landscaping and construction, with a keen eye for detail and safety.

Duties

Constructing and installing hard landscape features such as driveways, patios (porcelain & natural stone, concrete) pathways, walls, fences, decking (some composite) and steps using appropriate materials and techniques
Operating machinery including dumpers and power tools to assist with excavation, levelling, and installation tasks
Using hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and effectively during all phases of construction and maintenance
Assisting with site preparation, including soil preparation, grading, and debris removal
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
Collaborating with team members to plan project layouts and execute tasks efficiently

Experience

Proven experience in landscape maintenance, construction or horticulture is highly desirable
Mechanical knowledge related to operating machinery such as excavators and power tools is advantageous
Familiarity with the use of hand tools for landscaping tasks
Experience in gardening or horticulture will be considered an asset
Prior experience working on construction sites or outdoor projects demonstrating safety awareness and organisational skills
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high standards of workmanship
