Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant - St Peter’s CofE Primary School, Plymouth

Contract Term: Permanent

Hours: 27.50 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Salary: Grade SC Level 2 SCP 3-5 Starting salary £15,429 (£24,027 FTE)

Weeks per annum: 39 weeks per year – term time

Closing Date: Tuesday 2nd September

Interview Date: W/C 8th September

Start Date: As soon as possible

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant’s to join our collaborative academy, which is dedicated to developing our great team, centred around humility and respect. The role will be working with children with complex needs under the guidance of a Class Teacher. Understanding of Autism and /or Communication Interaction difficulties would be an advantage.

At St Peter’s Primary there is a real sense of community between the school, the surrounding area and St Peters Church. A strength of our school is its size: we are a small school with currently 172 children on roll, including a nursery. It means we know all our children and families well and can make sure that we do our best to develop their learning in a happy, safe, secure and values - respecting environment.
