Full job description

Maintaining a high standard of health and safety measures on site.

Maintaining a high level of housekeeping standards.

Carry out tasks below but not limited to:

Carry put 6 weekly PMI`s

Servicing

MOT Preparation of vehicles

Repairs / Driver Defects

Brake test / Head Light checks

fill out all documentation / service sheets and file.

Book relevant mot`s.

order parts when required

Liaise with our Traffic office

We have 16 artic tractor (14 Volvo and 2 Scania) tractor units and 26 trailers. (tri axle curtainsiders)

We have recently had a full new inspection pit, brake tester and headlight tester installed to our new workshop. This is a very clean and modern workshop. we operate a modern fleet of Vehicles, you will be required to keep maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate must be able and willing to complete all tasks from start to finish.

Experience with Volvo Trucks and Curtain sided Trailers is advantageous.

Also Class 1 would be advantageous for taking vehicles to MOT and road test, But not essential.

Minimum 5 years HGV Workshop experience required.

start and finish time can be agreed at interview, Willing to have flexibility for individual circumstances.
