Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Delivery Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth and efficient delivery operations, supporting the logistics team with various tasks that keep our service running seamlessly. Your energy and positive attitude will contribute to delivering enjoyable experiences for our customers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while making a tangible impact every day. Candidate will be required to handle 25kg bags so requires good physical strength. We also have a working farm so additional work will be required on the farm but training will be given on the job.

Responsibilities

Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly
Ensure all delivery areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction during deliveries

Skills

Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
Excellent time management skills to help keep deliveries prompt and maintain schedules
Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
