Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively bar environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, demonstrate good organisational skills, and have a keen eye for detail. Previous restaurant or bar experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK TILL 2AM AT WEEKENDS. MUST BE OVER 18. MUST BE RELIABLE.

PART TIME MOSTLY WEEKENDS BUT NOT EVERY WEEKEND.

Responsibilities

Serve drinks and beverages efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of customer service
Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments responsibly
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments is desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and licensing regulations
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Good time management to ensure prompt service during busy hours
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities
Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills
