Role Details
Responsible for monitoring and reporting compliance with quality standards and procedures all installation, calibration and testing processes of electrical and instrumentation scope. Recommend methods to improve overall quality and assists in analysing quality concerns. Monitor and assist construction to achieve quality standards.
Key Deliverables
- Perform inspections in accordance with the ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).
- Liaise with client’s representative for conducting of day to day inspection during the construction activities.
- Ensure installation of Coating to equipment and substrates is in compliance with ECS Code, drawings, vendor and code requirements with respect to; material, alignment, etc.
- Assist QC Manager and Area Leads in executing their responsibilities.
- Maintaining LTQR’s as required during inspections ensuring all signatures on LTQR and ITP during inspection as well as final acceptance formats ( Electronic or Traditional)
- Updating SONIM register as required.
- Strive to achieve Foreign Material Exclusion, preventing ingress or entrapment of non-specified materials, loose items or debris in equipment and /or systems during assembly and testing.
- Actively support the introduction of initiatives for improved progress.
Minimum Qualifications/ Experience:
- Qualifications in an Engineering discipline, ONC / HNC / HND (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated in responsible Quality inspection positions.
- NACE(National Association of Corrosion Engineers) level II, ICorr (Institute of Corrosion ) level II, or BGas British Gas L2.
Additional Qualifications/ Experience:
- Major Project Experience
- Nuclear Experience beneficial
- Working in Alliance agreement projects
