Full job description

Summary:
· Internal IT Management

· Customer Support IT Incidents

· Core Sicon Hub and WebAPI Support

· Customer Module Implementations

· Customer Test Server Management

· Resource planning

Operate as part of a team within the wider Sicon Support function covering the business operating hours of Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00

Aims of Role:
· IT Support for the Internal Sicon Team

· Implementation and Maintenance of core IT Infrastructure

· Ownership of internal IT security controls and contribution to wider business security posture.

· Point of contact for IT security audits, assessments, and external security partners.

· Identify opportunities to improve IT systems, tooling, and support processes.

· Drive standardisation and documentation across internal IT and relevant customer technical solutions.

· Assist in the investigation and resolution of IT related issues at customer sites relating or impacting Sicon Modules

· Monitor and Maintain DevOps pipelines

· Customer Support of core Sicon Hub and WebAPI related issues

· Liaison with developers regarding Sicon Hub and WebAPI issues

· Implementation and upgrade of Sicon modules internally and for customers

· Implement, maintain and own Customer Test Servers

· Scheduling and allocating of resource for upgrades and installations, in coordination with the Project Admin team and other requirements as necessary.

· Ensuring correct priority is allocated to cases and escalating to Customer Support Manager where necessary.

· Adhere to defined policies and processes, ensuring the support team provide a consistent and professional service at all times

· Provide a high level of customer service and support at all times

· Maintain a professional and consistent approach in all communications

Share relevant information with colleagues, ensuring they are able to follow up and complete any work undertaken should circumstances required it.

Experience:

Essential-
· 3+ Years experience working within an IT Support/Management environment

· Excellent technical background in a Microsoft Windows environment

· Microsoft 365 / Azure AD

· Windows Server / Networking

Desired-

· 1+ Years experience in TSS Security Control Framework

· 1+ Years experience in a Servicedesk environment

· 1+ Years experience in a Software/Application Support environment

· Experience with MSSQL Server an advantage

· Any technical qualifications relevant to this role (Microsoft certifications would be very advantageous)

· APIs / integrations

The person:

· Confident communicator (both written and oral)

· Motivated, outgoing, organised individual with a structured reliable approach to seeing tasks and duties completed

· Strong work ethic. Able to work on own initiative and support the wider team as necessary.

· Good listening and problem solving skills – a logical thinker with the ability to communicate technical issues to non- technical people

Excellent technical capability across a range of technologies focusing on Microsoft platforms in a large multi-site / network environment.

Pay: £45,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
