Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong office experience and excellent computer skills, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within our organisation. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your administrative expertise in a professional environment, supporting various departments and ensuring efficient workflow.

Duties

Manage and maintain accurate data entry across multiple platforms, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing enquiries appropriately and taking detailed messages when necessary
Organise and schedule appointments, meetings, and events to optimise operational efficiency
Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office applications
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies
Support the team with clerical duties including document management and record keeping
Ensure the organisation’s digital files are organised, up-to-date, and easily accessible
Perform basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks to support financial record keeping

Experience

Proven office experience or administrative background is preferred
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
Experience with data entry and clerical tasks demonstrating attention to detail
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good typing speed and accuracy to support efficient document preparation
Demonstrated professionalism in communication and phone etiquette

This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a high standard of organisation. Previous experience in an administrative capacity will be advantageous for success in this position.

Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour
