Full job description

Job Overview
Monitor POS Ltd is a small business importing and distributing hardware for the Electronic Point of Sale industry.

Other than the Directors this is the only employee position. The job will be largely unsupervised so you must be self motivated, self reliant and methodical.

The job involves managing the full day to day business and so multiple skills will be used.

Responsibilities

Main purposes of job

1. To manage the day to day business of Monitor POS Ltd. Process and prepare sales orders on quickbooks account system according to client requirements received by email, whatsapp, text or telephone call. Produce invoices and packing notes, build orders up from stock, label orders and prepare for despatch.

2. To ensure DPD courier picks up goods between 3.30-4.30PM and aid with loading

3. To pick, pack and label standard orders

4. Where required to build machines with operating system and accessories to client specifications. Including addition of internal components, installation of Operating System images and implementation of Windows licensing, basic testing. Training will be provided.

5. To monitor stock levels and identify when goods need to be reordered

6. Pick up client calls and reply to client emails, whatsapp etc. To provide customer support. To answer client enquiries to the best of ability.

7. To provide basic level technical support using existing resources and build own knowledge over time.

8. Be on hand to provide support for sea freight stock deliveries with bulk deliveries of up to 100 boxes of up to 25kg. This could be earlier than normal contracted hours. Overtime would be paid.

9. To maintain warehouse and stock in tidy and logical manner. To identify low stock situations and help prepare orders of new stock in a timely manner in line with product production/lead times.

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management

Qualifications

· Mid level computer user skills, good client liaison skills, basic tool use skills, use of screwdriver, standard tools etc.
· Ability to move and prepare boxed goods up to 25kg. A few heavy ones a day normally but once or twice a month, shipments will need offloading from delivery pallets up to 100 boxes.
· Organised, managing orders, packaging goods and collating orders

Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
