About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer (L3) to join a fast-paced and highly collaborative Network Reliability Engineering team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of enterprise network services, including network architecture, solution design, engineering, security, wireless infrastructure, and automation across global environments.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex network solutions while collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, implement, and automate global network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and Network Security.
- Develop high-quality network engineering designs, implementation plans, and technical documentation.
- Lead complex network transformation and modernization projects.
- Define and maintain technical design standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver strategic network initiatives.
- Support the lifecycle management of network changes with minimal business disruption.
- Drive continuous improvement across people, processes, technology, and information management.
- Contribute to engineering roadmaps and strategic planning activities.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
Required Technical Expertise
- Expert knowledge of IP-based networking architecture.
- Extensive experience with:
- Cisco ASR1K & ISR4K Routers
- Cisco SD-WAN
- Cisco Nexus 9K
- Cisco Catalyst 9600/9500/9300
- Ruckus ICX Switches
- Strong expertise in:
- TCP/IP and Ethernet protocols
- OSPF and BGP routing
- Software Defined Networking (SDN)
- Cisco Catalyst Center
- Citrix NetScaler Load Balancing
- Experience leading complex network design and implementation projects.
Network Security
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise security solutions.
- Strong understanding of:
- Zero Trust Architecture
- Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) & Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)
- Tufin SecureTrack
- Cisco StealthWatch & NetFlow
- Expertise in firewall technologies including:
- Palo Alto
- Cisco ASA
- Cisco FirePower
- Zone-Based Firewalls
- Firewall policy optimization and security governance experience.
- CCNP Security or CCIE Security certification preferred.
Wireless Networking
- Enterprise-scale Wi-Fi design and deployment experience.
- Expertise with:
- Cisco and Ruckus Wi-Fi 6/7 Access Points
- Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers
- Ruckus SmartZone
- Experience conducting wireless site surveys using:
- Ekahau Site Survey Pro
- Ekahau Sidekick Pro
- Spectrum Analyzers
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams optimization over wireless networks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking, network security, or wireless networking.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale network infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within globally distributed teams.
