Property Operations & Maintenance Assistant (Temporary Summer Role)

We're looking for a practical, organised and proactive person to assist our Property Manager over the summer.

You'll help coordinate maintenance works, organise property turnarounds, liaise with contractors and cleaners, and carry out property inspections.

This is not a desk-based admin role.

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes ownership of tasks and isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up when required. A lot of time will be spent around the properties.

Key responsibilities:

Assisting the Property Manager with day-to-day operations
Coordinating maintenance works and contractors
Organising cleaning and property changeovers
Carrying out property inspections
Assisting with basic maintenance and practical tasks
Helping keep projects on track and resolving day-to-day issues

We're looking for someone who:

Is highly organised and reliable
Has good practical common sense
Can work independently and make sensible decisions
Is confident communicating with contractors, tenants and landlords
Is happy mixing desk-based admin with on site work
Has a full UK driving licence and their own transport
Must be based in or close to Lancaster

Property, maintenance, hospitality, construction or facilities management experience would be beneficial, but attitude and willingness to get stuck in are more important.
