About the client:
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded hospitality and events venue, known for creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for visitors. Due to the nature of the site, maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment is a top priority. They are looking for a reliable and proactive Security Officer to join their team, supporting the day-to-day safety of staff, guests, and the premises while delivering excellent customer service at all times.
Shift Pattern:
- Fridays: 14:00 – 22:00
- Saturdays: 12:00 – 22:00
- Sundays: 12:00 – 20:00
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of the site
- Monitor and control access to the venue, checking authorised entry where required
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies
- Provide a visible and approachable security presence for staff and visitors
- Complete accurate incident reports and maintain relevant site records
- Support with crowd management during busy periods and events
- Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed at all times
- Liaise effectively with management, staff, and emergency services when required
- Monitor CCTV and report any suspicious activity or security concerns
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional manner
Requirements:
- A valid front-line SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Close Protection)
- Previous experience in a similar security role is desired but not essential; training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
- A proactive and vigilant approach to security, with the ability to assess and respond to potential risks.
- A professional and customer-oriented mindset, dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
