Job Description: Sales Estimator

Company: Bryant Precision Ltd
Location: Peterlee, UK
Department: Production / Manufacturing
Reports To: Sales Manager / Managing Director
Salary: £30000 to £40000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Position Overview:

Bryant Precision Ltd is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Sales Estimator to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional with experience in the aluminium fenestration industry, including windows, doors, curtain walling, and cladding systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing customer relationships, preparing competitive quotations, and supporting projects from enquiry through to order.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling, and cladding projects.
Review architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
Liaise directly with customers, contractors, architects, and developers to understand project requirements.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing a high level of service throughout the sales process.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure quotations are technically and commercially viable.
Follow up quotations and identify opportunities to secure new business.
Assist with value engineering and alternative solutions where appropriate.
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, and customer communications.

Skills and Experience:

Essential

Previous estimating experience within the aluminium glazing, façade, or construction industry.
Knowledge of aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling, and cladding systems.
Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and customer relationship management abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Desirable

Experience using estimating software and ERP systems.
Knowledge of current building regulations and façade performance requirements.
Experience working with main contractors, architects, and developers.
