Support Worker

✨ New Opportunity – Join Us as a Support Worker! ✨

Location: Portsmouth
Pay rate: £14.50- £15.50 per hour - Weekly and Monthly Pay available!
Shift pattern: 08:00 -22:00 (days) and 22:00 – 08:00 (sleep nights), 09.00-13.00 (double ups)
Hours: Full time
Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence due to nature of the role

We are looking for friendly, reliable and outgoing Support Workers to join a small team supporting a sociable gentleman who lives at home in Portsmouth. This person has Spinal Cord Injury and complex clinical needs — and they rely on a consistent team who truly understand them.

He stays active, gets out in the community and enjoys activities and hobbies he loves.

Interests & Hobbies Include:

Watching football and boxing
Following horse racing
Community outings and leisure pursuits
Social activities and events

✨ What you’ll be doing

As a Support Worker, you’ll play an important role in helping this individual live safely, comfortably, and in a way that reflects their preferences. Your day might include:

Providing high‑quality support on a 1:1 basis
Creating opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the community
Encouraging social interaction and promoting emotional wellbeing
Supporting communication in the way that works best for them
Helping with routine household tasks to maintain a calm, organised environment

This is a role where your presence genuinely makes a difference every day.
