About the role

As our Client Relationship Manager, you'll build and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers across a range of industries, inviting them to attend our meet-the-buyer events. You'll own the buyer journey from initial outreach through to long-term relationship management, helping us deliver exceptional networking experiences.

This is a relationship-led role at the heart of our events business. You'll be responsible for growing and maintaining a high-quality community of buyers, ensuring the right people attend our events and creating lasting connections between buyers and suppliers.

You'll combine excellent communication skills, commercial awareness and a passion for relationship building to engage senior professionals, understand their needs and encourage them to participate in our industry-leading events.

Key responsibilities

Identify, research and engage senior decision-makers across a broad range of sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective hosted buyers.
Manage the full buyer journey, from initial invitation through to attendance and ongoing engagement.
Conduct outreach campaigns via phone, email, LinkedIn and other channels to attract high-quality buyers.
Understand buyer requirements and ensure they are matched with relevant event opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of buyer interactions, preferences and engagement activity.
Support attendance targets by managing registrations, follow-ups and confirmations.
Develop long-term relationships that encourage repeat attendance across future events.
Work closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless buyer experience before, during and after events.
Gather feedback from buyers to continuously improve the event experience.
Be present at each event and support the event team

About you

We're looking for someone who enjoys building genuine relationships and thrives in a role where communication, organisation and attention to detail are key.

You'll ideally have experience in client relationships, account management, business development, recruitment, hospitality, events or another customer-focused environment. Most importantly, you'll be confident speaking with senior professionals and able to build trust quickly.

You will be:

A confident and engaging communicator, both verbally and in writing.
Comfortable speaking with senior decision-makers.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities.
Proactive, driven and motivated by achieving targets.
Naturally curious, with the ability to understand different industries and business needs.
A team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced events environment.

OTE £35,000 - £50,000 per year
