Here at The Royal Free Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, we are passionate about delivering the highest quality care to all our patients. In order to help us achieve this, we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and committed band 3 Health Care Assistants to join our team.

As an HCA, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of safe, effective and high quality care to patients who require haemodialysis.

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is a high performing Trust with some of the best clinical outcomes in the country.

As a member of the multidisciplinary team the post holder will contribute to the delivery of patients’ individual care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

The Senior Health Care Assistant demonstrates a level of skill and understanding which enables them to undertake specific tasks delegated by the registered nurse and in accordance with relevant procedures, guidelines, and policies. S/he will undertake both routine and specially identified tasks for which they have been trained and assessed as competent.

Assist with the induction, supervision and training and development of Band 2 Health Care Assistants under the supervision of a registered nurse.

There is the opportunity to develop within the role and undertake further training and development.
To act as a role model for student nurses and colleagues.
