Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Full Time Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment, engaging with diverse patrons while honing your skills in the hospitality industry. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
Take orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring prompt service to maximise guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws
Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts
Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive experience
Follow food safety standards and health regulations at all times

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or as a bartender within a restaurant or bar environment is preferred
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
Excellent serving skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and well-stocked
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Effective time management to ensure timely service during peak hours
Friendly, approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards of customer care
