Full job description

Duty Manager (Start £13.50/hour + Benefits)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Duty Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the highest standards of service are maintained. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence, fostering a positive environment for both staff and customers.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations and manage staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
Train and mentor team members to uphold service standards and enhance their skills.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management to maintain adequate supplies.
Conduct regular inspections of the premises to maintain cleanliness and organisation.
Prepare reports on operational performance and suggest improvements where necessary.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.

Requirements

Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality is preferred but not essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Proficient in basic computer applications for reporting and communication purposes.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making abilities.
