Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organised Admin Assistant to support our team with a variety of Sage software administrative tasks. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities within our organisation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their administrative skills in a professional environment. The role is suitable for those who are detail-oriented, efficient, and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Managing and maintaining office files, records, and databases with accuracy and confidentiality
Handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional manner
Scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff members
Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required
Supporting team members with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and data entry
Coordinating office supplies inventory and placing orders when necessary
Providing general support to visitors and clients visiting the organisation
Ensuring the office environment remains organised, tidy, and welcoming

Qualifications

Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Sage or similar software programmes
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all tasks undertaken
Friendly demeanour with a professional attitude towards colleagues and clients

Pay: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
