Events & Banqueting Manager

Manor House Country Hotel is a well-established, family-run hotel with over 30 years of experience, set on the beautiful shores of Lough Erne. We are known for delivering exceptional weddings and are now seeking an experienced Events & Banqueting Manager to lead and coordinate our events.

Job Summary

A hands-on role focused on planning, organising, and delivering weddings and banqueting events to the highest standard. You will manage each event from initial enquiry through to the big day, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for every couple.

Key Responsibilities

Manage wedding enquiries, showarounds, and bookings
Meet with couples to plan all aspects of their wedding day
Coordinate wedding timelines, room setups, and event details
Liaise with kitchen, bar, and banqueting teams to ensure smooth service
Lead and oversee weddings and events on the day
Act as the main point of contact for couples and guests
Ensure high standards of service throughout all events
Supervise and support banqueting staff
Provide occasional Duty Manager support when required

Requirements

Previous experience in weddings, events, or banqueting management
Background in hospitality or hotel operations
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple events and work under pressure
Strong attention to detail
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
