Job Description

Are you ready to accelerate your career with a dynamic and innovative F1 team? Alpine F1 Team has an opportunity within the Composites Department in Enstone, as a Composite Technician - Machining on a fixed term contract until the end of 2027.

The Role

Working as part of the Composite Team, candidates will be required to work on a varied range of machines which machine epoxy block patterns and carbon fibre components. They will be expected to understand engineering drawings, symbols and geometric tolerance, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Key objectives include:

To set and operate 3 and 5 axis machine tools and edit programs
To be able to read and understand engineering drawings and use various measuring equipment
To produce components to tight timescales and tolerances
To be able to set priorities and work under pressure

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have an engineering background and be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and models. Knowledge of Heidenhain controls would also be desirable.

They will be PC literate and comfortable using MS Office products, Dynamics 365 knowledge would be at an advantage. They will be a real team player, work well under pressure, and have excellent attention to detail.
