Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Freight Account Manager to drive success in managing logistics and transportation solutions for our clients. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure seamless freight operations. Your proactive approach will help optimize supply chain processes, foster strong B2B relationships, and deliver exceptional service that exceeds client expectations.

Duties

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their freight needs and providing tailored transportation solutions.
Manage freight bookings
Negotiate rates, terms, and service agreements with carriers and third-party logistics providers.
Maintain exceptional levels of customer service through effective communications with customers at all times.
Identify upselling opportunities and support account growth.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with the sales team on new business opportunities.

Experience

Strong customer service, negotiation and organisational skills.
Knowledge of freight forwarding would be an advantage.
Proven ability to manage customer queries, resolve operational issues and handle escalations effectively.
