As a Senior Recreation Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting Duty Managers and contributing to the smooth operation of the facility. You will help provide a safe and enjoyable environment for customers and clients, encouraging repeat visits.

Working closely with the Operational Team, your responsibilities will include front-line building management, ensuring the effective delivery of the daily activity programme and supervising and supporting the Recreation Assistant team.

You will also carry out a wide range of duties, including equipment set-ups, function rigging and de-rigging while actively engaging with customers, contractors, colleagues and hirers to deliver a first-class experience.

A full training programme will be provided and for those that want to go further, we will work with you to develop a career path with us.

Hours: Casual hours, as and when required.

Requirements

NPLQ qualification or equivalent
First Aid at Work
Enhanced DBS to be carried out
An ability and understanding of how to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and also to all levels of staff
Well developed interpersonal skills
Team orientated approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of staff and colleagues
To be able to work flexibly and understand instructions from managers
Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry
