Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organised Office Manager to join a well established tree care company based in Holmwood, Dorking serving private and commercial clients across the South East. We are looking for a self driven and team player to manage our office operations. This role involves all aspects of day to day running and aid the development of the company. You will work alongside the director providing essential administrative assistance, supporting the teams out on jobs and ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organisational skills, and some experience in the landbased/service industry environment would be useful. This position offers an excellent opportunity to be hands on and keep the office efficient, and organised.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring an efficient workflow
Support Director and Estimator with administrative tasks
Manage diary scheduling on in house system for quotes, jobs
Manage human resources activities including recruitment, maintaining employee records, and leave management
Supervise Office administrator providing guidance and support
Maintain effective communication with clients and teams via phone, email, and in-person interactions
Management of Accreditations and compliance, policy creation and updates.
Completing Planning Applications for jobs
Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes to facilitate smooth team collaboration
Some Marketing and advertising experience would be useful to aid management website and Social media Platforms
Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly
Good problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards workload management
This role is ideal for a motivated individual seeking to utilise their organisational talents within a supportive team environment.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
