The Opportunity:
Step into a strategic PSL Knowledge Lawyer role at the heart of our high-performing Property teams. You will shape and drive the development of legal know-how across both Commercial and Residential practices, playing a key role in enhancing technical excellence, consistency, and efficiency.
Working closely with fee earners, you will influence how legal services are delivered by developing precedents, delivering training, supporting complex legal queries, and embedding innovative technologies.
This role offers a unique platform to move away from fee-earning into a collaborative, forward-thinking position where you can make a lasting impact on team performance, knowledge sharing, and client service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge & Technical Support

Develop and maintain high-quality precedents, templates, and guidance notes

Manage and enhance the team’s know-how repository

Provide practical legal research and technical support

Advise on complex property matters, including landlord & tenant, title, development, and conveyancing issues

Monitor and communicate legal and regulatory developments

Drive consistency and standardisation across documents and processes
Training & Development

Identify and deliver training across all levels of the Property team
-
Design and implement engaging learning programmes

Support trainee development and induction
-
Lead on updates relating to legislative changes (e.g., leasehold reform, SDLT)
Business Development & Client Support

Contribute to client briefings, legal updates, and training sessions

Support pitches, tenders, and marketing materials
-
Produce thought leadership and sector-focused insights for clients
Innovation & Change

Support the team’s innovation and legal tech strategy
-
Improve workflows and transaction processes
-
Promote the use of knowledge systems and document automation

Champion a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
Collaboration & Strategy

Work closely with colleagues across Property and other practice areas

Support departmental initiatives and strategic projects

Encourage collaboration between Commercial and Residential teams
What we are looking for:

6+ PQE in Commercial and/or Residential Property
-
Previous PSL experience or a strong fee earner looking to transition into a knowledge role

Excellent technical expertise across property law
-
Strong drafting, research, and precedent development skills

Confident communicator with experience delivering training

Commercially aware with a proactive and collaborative approach

Highly organised and detail-oriented
