Job Title: Conditioning Operative

Reporting To: Team Leader

Company: Flamingo Flowers Sandy SG1 2AJ

Sunday to Wednesday week 1 Sunday to Tuesday week 2

Hours of work 06:30 to 18:30

Rate of pay £13.17

Job Purpose

To work in any area of conditioning as required. To be able to understand and follow all training given. To understand the speed requirement for your role and achieve it.

Principle Accountabilities

1. Co-ordination

i. To be able to demonstrate competency in multiple areas of the production line.

2. Efficiency / Productivity

i. To understand the speed targets set by your team leader and achieve them.

3. Product Quality

i. To ensure all finished goods meet external and / or internal teams expectations.
ii. To ensure all products are handled and stored correctly.

4. Health and Safety

i. To ensure all health and safety policies are adhered to in all areas.
ii. To ensure you understand and follow all training given.

Contact with others

Maintain a high level of communication with colleagues, your own team and associated departments.

Ethical: Employees must ensure that they fulfil their job role in an ethical manner and that they adhere to the Company’s policies relating to ethical practices in their dealings with other employees.

Environmental: Employees must ensure that they are continually mindful of the Company’s environmental aims and that where possible whilst fulfilling their job role they minimise their personal impact upon the environment.

· Understanding of the Health & Safety Act and its implications to you, your colleagues and the company.

· Maintaining a safe working environment and follow safe working practices.

· Responsible for annual SSOW review and re-training
