Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all driving regulations.

Monday- Friday- 6am-2pm

(37.5 hours per week)

Please note- a delivery vehicle is provided.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.

Skills

Previous experience as a delivery driver is not essential but highly desirable.
Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving larger vehicles is advantageous.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, enhancing overall efficiency in logistics tasks. We welcome applications from individuals who are enthusiastic about delivering exceptional service while contributing positively to our team environment.
