Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Production Operative specialising in the powder coating sector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various stages of the powder coating process, ensuring high-quality preparation for high-quality finishes and efficient workflow. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in powder coating within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces and components for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and sanding as required.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely to assemble, disassemble, or modify parts.
Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and finished products within the warehouse or production area.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to adhere to health and safety standards.
Conduct basic measurements and calculations to ensure correct application of coatings and assembly accuracy.

Requirements

Proven experience in factory operations, powder coating, or general industrial labour is desirable.
Mechanical knowledge with familiarity of hand tools, power tools.
Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding environment with attention to safety protocols.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Willingness to learn new skills related to powder coating techniques and industrial processes. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking hands-on experience in industrial finishing processes within a supportive team environment.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
