Job Title

Hotel Front Desk Receptionist/Multi skill role with staff accommodation.

Reports To Front desk Manager/General Manager

Job Purpose

To provide a professional, friendly and efficient front desk service to all hotel guests, ensuring an excellent guest experience from check-in to check-out. The role involves handling reservations, guest enquiries, payments and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel reception.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome guests in a warm and professional manner
Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
Handle room reservations, cancellations and amendments
Answer telephone calls, emails and guest enquiries promptly
Process guest payments and maintain accurate billing records
Assist guests with local information, directions and hotel services
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams regarding room status and guest requests
Resolve guest complaints professionally and escalate issues when required
Maintain accurate records using the hotel PMS system
Ensure reception and lobby areas are clean, organised and presentable at all times
Follow hotel procedures relating to security, cash handling and data protection
Support other departments when required to ensure smooth hotel operations

Skills & Experience Required

Previous customer service or hotel reception experience preferred
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel booking systems preferred
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Flexible approach to shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays

Working Hours

Shift-based role including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
