Job Description

Hours: 39 hours per week, 09:00 - 17:15 (4 days), 09:00 - 17:30 (1 day)

The purpose of this job is to support the operation and development of the Chemistry department

Chemistry testing.
Method verification.
Laboratory house-keeping.
Management of chemistry materials.
Management of laboratory glassware.
Management of laboratory waste.
Maintain laboratory log books.
Perform required inter-company support activities.
Perform LabGuard activities.
Write exceptions.
CAPA.
Support equipment calibration, qualification, and maintenance.
Propose and implement continuous improvements.
Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external clients.
Builds a client-centric focus within the organisation by ensuring that internal processes are designed with the client in mind.
Gets first-hand client information and uses it for improvements in services and products.
Understands client concerns and demonstrates that solving their problems is a top priority.
Regularly calibrates performance against client requirements and expectations.
Builds long-term relationships with clients by understanding and anticipating their current and future needs.
Meets commitments and ensures that deliverables are completed on time.

Qualifications

Degree in life sciences is preferred.

Experience

Experience in Pharmacopeia testing is desirable but not essential.
Experience in GMP- or GLP-regulated environment, and within in a chemistry role

Skills

Good understanding of GMP.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Demonstrates competency in work.
Good communication skills.
Good organisation skills.
Ability to follow management directives.
Demonstrates professionalism.
Willingness to learn.
Quality consciousness.
