Full job description

An opportunity has arisen in the Emergency Department at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, for a registered nurse with substantial experience within an acute setting.

We are looking to recruit an additional Local Coordinator for The Scottish Trauma Audit Group (STAG), one of a range of national audits. The group has succeeded in its aim of improving the management of seriously injured patients in Scotland.

You must be able to demonstrate ability to pay consistent attention to detail
The ability to motivate and work with other disciplines in a sensitive manner and to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Excellent organisational skills including effective time management, self-motivation and the ability to work without supervision.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. More information on this scheme can be found at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
