Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Therapist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care, supporting patient treatment plans, and enhancing overall patient experience. Duties

Provide preventative and restorative dental treatments under the supervision of a dentist, including fillings, extractions, and periodontal care
Assist in developing personalised treatment plans tailored to patient needs
Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for designing dental restorations where applicable
Operate medical imaging equipment to capture accurate diagnostic images for assessment and planning
Conduct oral health assessments, including visual examinations and patient education on oral hygiene practices
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
Support the dental team in ensuring a smooth workflow and exceptional patient care experience
Uphold strict infection control protocols and maintain clinical cleanliness at all times

Requirements

recognised qualification as a Dental Therapist from an accredited institution
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral structures and dental procedures
Proficiency in using CAD software for dental design purposes is desirable
Experience with medical imaging techniques used in dentistry is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and treatment documentation
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to regulatory standards
